The Department for Business, Innovation & Skills have published a report highlighting the range of actions being taken across government to grow the bioeconomy using waste as a feedstock.
This report highlights the economic and environmental potential of this emerging economy. There are important things government can, and is doing to support the bioeconomy sector and prevent barriers impacting on its growth.
This includes investment to support the commercialisation and scale-up of new innovation, and increase the level and accessibility of publicly available data on the UK feedstock supply chain.
Full report is HERE.
