Improving Cabin Air Quality for Plant Operatives
This guidance has been written by AfOR member BMAir to provide information for site & company health & safety managers on how to reduce the risk to site personnel in respect of cabin air quality when operatives spend prolonged or frequent periods of time in mobile plant.
At biowaste sites operatives need to be protected against exposure to potentially hazardous or toxic materials such as bio-aerosols micro organism’s spores and gasses.  There are health risks associated with long term exposure to these materials. This document provides information on equipment that can be fitted to plant to reduce these risks.
