8-11th April, Oslo, Norway
Framework, Legislation and Practical experiences for diverting organic waste in cities
ISWA are hosting the next ISWA Beacon Conference on Food Waste, taking place on the 8th of April in Oslo, Norway, the European Green Capital of 2019.
This special one-day event will explore framework legislation and successful experiences for the collection and recycling of organic waste in four cities: Oslo, Milan, Munich and San Francisco, featuring the leading American epert and advocate for Californians Against Waste, Mr Matt Cotton, USA, as Key Note speaker. The programme includes a technical site visit to Optibag, a separate collection and sorting plant and an evening reception at the Oslo City Hall, with conference dinner to follow.
For the first time, the ISWA Beacon Conference on Food Waste is aligned with the 7th Nordic Biogas Conference and Composting Day organised by Avfall Norge (Waste Management Norway) for a four-day focus on the next wave of policy and potential of bio-waste treatment in Europe and beyond.
