ORG Conference 2018 - Quality - not costing the earth

15th March 2018
Buford Bridge Hotel, Dorking, Surrey

A full programme of the event can be seen HERE

This annual ORG Conference is a not to be missed event,  it provides you the opportunity to meet up with friends and colleagues in our vibrant industry to come together and learn what is new both from a technical and regulatory perspective.

We continue to grow as an industry with over ten million tonnes of biowaste being treated annually at composting, AD and MBT facilities. There is however still potential to divert more material to organic recycling and maximise this valued resource. We continue to work at persuading Government to adopt a more progressive approach to the collection of food waste as seen in the devolved nations and we will continue to make our case heard within the halls of Westminster.

Quality is at the heart of our discussions this year and a fundamental shift is required in our approach to the collection of biowaste if we are to break the current impasse on improving the quality of inputs and gaining the confidence of end users who we rely on to recycle our products beneficially.

The ORG 2018 conference will provide the ideal platform for constructive debate, an opportunity for members to meet old acquaintances and gain a valuable insight into developments within the biodegradable waste management industry. This event provides the platform for operators and those within the sector to voice their concerns so that we can address these to improve the climate in the future. We want our industry to be more profitable, forward looking and proportionately regulated.

Come and join us and help us shape the Circular Economy within our sphere of influence at a critical point in our growth, as political uncertainty prevails. It will be you and I that make a difference now and your attendance at this event will assist this ambition.
