The European Commission invites you to pre-register for the workshop;
Business & Practitioners Workshop on Financial Opportunities and Legislative Barriers
for Circular Economy,
which will take place on 21st March in Albert Borschette Conference Centre (CCAB), room 0D, rue Froissart 36, between 9:30 and 17:00.
This workshop is aimed at private as well as public stakeholders involved in Circular Economy and will be an occasion to get a better understanding about practical tools to participate in the Investment Plan. The European Fund for Strategic Investment has a huge potential to contribute to the modernisation of the European companies but its success depends on the industrial participation. Experts from the European Commission and European Investment Bank (EIB) will answer your questions, and company representatives will share their experiences in participating in the Investment Plan.
In case you are considering obtaining financing from the EIB, you will also have an opportunity to hold a bilateral meeting with an EIB expert.
The second part of the day will be dedicated to the legal barriers which prevent investment in the Circular Economy. As part of the Circular Economy Action Plan, the European Commission has been analysing legal challenges and obstacles for investment and innovation in Circular Economy. The workshop will provide an occasion to discuss the study authors' preliminary findings and share your own experience.
